Infrared Camera for Drone Price: Resolve the C12 Zoom Line First

Before comparing an infrared camera for drone price, settle which camera configuration the quotation describes. On Seboar’s C12 page, the product title includes “10x Hybrid Zoom,” while the visible-light specification table lists “4× Digital Zoom.” Those labels should not be silently combined into one promised capability. Ask which statement applies to the offered C12 and have the answer recorded with the quotation.

This is a specific document issue, rather than a reason to assume either number is the delivered specification. The page does not explain how the two descriptions relate. A lower or higher quoted price cannot resolve that missing relationship. For a buyer preparing an inspection payload order, the useful next step is a dated description of the supplied camera and its operating modes.

Settle the zoom description before comparing offers

The C12 zoom entries and package description give the supplier a concrete starting point for clarification. Quote both phrases in the request. Ask for the applicable specification revision, the channel to which the zoom applies, and the mode included in the offered configuration. If a revised description replaces one entry, retain that revision with the order.

Do not turn the difference into a comparison of proven image quality. These two labels alone do not establish what detail an operator will obtain from the delivered unit. Nor do they establish that one description is merely a different name for the other. A written clarification should resolve the wording before a demonstration or acceptance requirement is defined around it.

That distinction also keeps the commercial comparison narrow. Compare offers against the same confirmed description, instead of treating a product-title number and a table entry as interchangeable. If the supplier has not yet established the applicable mode, leave that requirement open. An unresolved specification is more useful to record explicitly than to hide inside a price comparison that looks complete.

Keep the listed package separate from the aircraft installation

The C12 page lists a standard package containing the camera, cable, mounting accessories and storage card. Its price note separately states that shipping and taxes are excluded and asks the buyer to confirm before ordering. Carry those inclusions and exclusions into the quotation; the displayed amount is not, by itself, a delivered total for a particular destination.

Ask the supplier to identify the supplied cable and mounting accessories, rather than expanding those general labels into an assumed installation kit. The product table states upright and inverted installation support, but that statement does not identify a particular aircraft bracket or the complete contents of an aircraft-specific mounting arrangement.

The same care applies to weight. The table lists 117 g for the C12. Keep that published product entry separate from a requested weight for the complete installed assembly. Ask what the quoted installation includes and how its mass is specified; do not invent an allowance for cables, brackets or other components from the camera entry alone.

Write the interface and image requirements into the handover

The system table identifies a LAN control interface and LAN/RTSP video output. Those are useful interface labels, but they are not a compatibility record for a named flight controller, radio link or ground-station application. Request the supported control method and an agreed connection arrangement for the actual equipment in the order. A general compatibility statement should not replace that configuration-specific confirmation.

Keep the image channels separate as well. The visible-light table lists 2560 × 1440 resolution and 1280 × 720 image transmission; the thermal table lists 384 × 288. Do not copy one of those figures across all outputs. Ask which channel and output mode the proposed inspection workflow will use, and what sample files or stream demonstration will be supplied for that particular requirement.

A practical quotation record can therefore remain short: the identified C12 configuration and revision, the reconciled zoom description, the supplied package, the agreed interfaces and image outputs, and the stated delivery exclusions. Each unresolved item should have an explicit confirmation request. This does not establish an acceptance test has already been performed or that a particular aircraft integration is proven.

Once those points are settled, compare prices for that defined scope. If they remain open, preserve the open items alongside the offer. The goal is a clear purchase description that another person can check against the supplied equipment, without having to decide later which part of a product page the quotation was meant to promise.
